These are two more advertising photographs I really want to try. The one with the apple and earbuds doesn't have anything complex to it so I really don't like it. I could make it complex by putting a schnoot on the flash and aim it from the side shooting just across the apple symbol.
The coffee one is more complex. There is a flash to the left and has a schnoot on the flash so it only hits the beans. It is a flash with no umbrella or light diffuser because there are harsh shadows under the beans. It looks like the steam from the coffee is photoshopped on there. I know my ISO would need to be at 100. Other than that getting this picture will just be trial and error.
